Six season filled with hour long shows will make this show seem more like a drawn out movie than an HBO hit TV show. The most interesting issues build from the first season between mob boss Tony and his therapist. Later things escalate into cheating, betrayal, abuse and much more that will keep you watching. It's full of dark humor, heavy adult language and abrupt violence. The only downfall, a lame final episode that leaves issues open ended; still a great TV show and one of my favorites.

Weeds (TV)
Starting with the "Little Boxes" music intro, this dark humor/drama Tv show will make you quit watching "Desperate Housewives" to focus on the life of single mother Nancy Botwin's suburban struggle to provide for her two kids as a marijuana dealer. Between family feuds, nosy neighbors, and her kid's school struggles, Nancy deals with the pressures even as her pot experiences gets her in over her head. This dark comedy will keep you watching through 4 seasons of love and loss.

MIT kids who use their skills to count cards at Blackjack in Vegas on the weekends seems unreal, but is based on facts. Much of the plot was expected, but the film sets a nice pace that explained more about card counting + the lingo which was helpful. The characters lacked development and failed to be more than average students lacking costumes to avoid trouble at the casinos. A quick rental that makes you want to play cards when its done.

Semi-Pro
Jackie Moon (Will Ferrell) preforms full out, yet the plot didn't deliver enough laughs. The song at the intro and the last half hour were the prime laughs of the film. The story line was well written yet I didn't find myself enjoying the humor until the end. Jackie Moon carries the whole story along and could have used more support from his basketball teammates. Overall a good way to pass a rainy afternoon.

Iron Man
Well developed character build up with action and humor throughout. Unlike "Spiderman" this film takes the time to let you know Tony Stark (Iron Man) as more than just a superhero. Marvel did an amazing job in selecting the actors and creating an easy to follow plot without excessive technology lingo. Terrence Howard even plays a minor role which might expand in the sequel. Summer movie must see, even if you aren't a comic book fan!

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
It's hard to top a classic of Indiana Jones. The mystery of "The Mummy" combined with the action of "Pirates of the Caribbean" and a bit of sci-fi created a confusing plot. Harrison Ford encounters the usual Russians, subtle humor and expected conflicts while staying true to character. The added flavor in Shia LaBeouf's character of Mutty provided much of the comic relief and teases to perhaps continue the series for future generations. More of a rental than a Memorial weekend movie must see.
