Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

A kid friendly favorite is back for a new dino-prehistoric adventure. It's time to be responsible parents and enter a new phase of life as your old friends Sid, Diego and Manny return for a third sequel. Full of laughs and wholesome values on friendship this is a great winter flick.

The Ugly Truth

A TV producer meets her match when a young, hot guy opens a new segment that raises some eyebrows. This movie is a less gushy date night flick than expected. Yet another romantic comedy, but this one has unexpected dirty sexual talk and laughs to boot.

G.I Joe: The Rise of the Cobra

Hasbro has yet another flop this season in the creation of turning a kid action figure to the big screen. The special effects keep you watching in parts, however the plot lacks flow and depth. Sadly, not the hype the previews attempted to produce.

The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3

Denzel Washington and John Travolta star together in a New York subway hijacking thriller. The action is fast paced and much like the two versions before in 1974 and 1988. Still an eventful plot but now with some big names to back it up.

Whip It

Ellen Page stars as a Texas teen (directed by and co-starting Drew Barrymore) trying to fit in between beauty pageants to support her mom and following her dream to be in a roller derby. Tricky filming and fun loving costumes. Your classic teen movie without the usual ending.

My Life in Ruins

The star of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" (Nia Vardalos) takes on a new role as a tour guide in Greece who rediscovers her romantic side with a little help from her clients. At first it was hard to get into the movie, but once her character learns to light up the tourist trip comes to life. Beautiful scenery to match a story of transformation.

The Proposal

How far would you go to back up your boss? Would you marry her to avoid deportation back to Canada to save your career? Well, Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds team up as boss and assistant in a romantic comedy that asks that very question. With a charming cast, including Betty White, you are bound to laugh at least once.

Zombieland

With Zombieland Rules such as "Double Tap", "Beware of Bathrooms" and "Always Wear Your Seat Belt" this film is sure to make you laugh about a world full of horror. There is plenty of guts and gore, but its more of a teen flick staring Jesse Eisenberg from "Adventureland". I enjoyed it more than I had expected.
