Nicolas Cage stars as a science professor who discovers a mysterious "letter" his son receives from a time capsule at school. Some of the predictions lead Cage's character, John, to believe tragic events have and are about to unfold in our planet's future. It begins more as a horror movie and transitions into a silly sci-fi.
