Based on the novel "Push", an obese and poorly educated girl about to have her second child enrolls into an alternative school to fight for the life she deserves. Set in Harlem, this film is rough to watch with harsh language and scenes of abuse, but excellent casting makes for a powerful impact. Life has never been depicted in such a raw perspective as that of young Precious.
